The MAP (Master Affiliate Profits) program has been in making for a year or so, and is a product reflecting the idea of two successful marketers, John Thornhill and Omar Martin. If you’re not sure of who and what I’m talking about, there’s more on MAP HERE.

I’ll try to answer to some MAP questions as much as I can, but let’s say a few words about starting an online business. After all, this is what interests you, otherwise you wouldn’t be here.

Starting an affiliate business

Everyone heard about money being in a list, right? It’s true. It is generally accepted that every active subscriber on your list will bring you $1 per month, for as long as they’re on your list. So let’s do a very simple and quick calculation.

Let’s be extra modest and assume that you, as a beginner, plan on earning $25k yearly. It’s not the millionaire world yet, but you have to start somewhere, as everyone else.

This means you have to make $2,083 per month, and based on the first statement, you’ll need 2,083 subscribers on your list. See?

Now, you may ask yourself – as I did: Is it really that simple? Is that really all I need?

Well – yes AND no. Yes, that’s the base criteria. No, it’s not quite enough.

Be aware that the first statement will only be true if you work with your list in a proper way. And here’s the catch – you’ll have to learn how to do that, because noone has been born smart enough.

You have two main ways to do that. You can either start from scratch and learn it all by yourself, which is by any means possible. It will however take you some time, and this can be anywhere from weeks to months and even years, depending on your experience in online marketing. Additionally, you will most likely spend lots of money for testing your ideas – and even worse, fall into a trap of shiny objects: buying things that promise a lot but rarely work. Many marketers just give up, because it simply puts too much stress on them, since there are no results in spite of hard work they put in.

A much better way is learning from someone already successful, i.e. getting a mentor. It will cost something still, for sure, but save you tremendous amounts of time, letting you earn early in the process and thus making it possible to scale up properly and reach your goals much faster.

That’s where MAP comes in.

Dangers when starting an affiliate business

The numbers of beginners at affiliate marketing business that quit after a certain time is extremely high – some say even above 95%. The main reason without doubt is that people get tired of working hard and spending lots of money, but not seeing any real results. Sure, you can make a sale here and there, but the goal of any business – and affiliate marketing is a business – is to bring predictable results and make enough return to make living easy.

There are people making millions every month in this business, and they’re doing it literally now. But ok, this could be a goal, but let’s be serious and focus on goals within our reach – like making those $25 per year, as mentioned.

It’s doable and it’s relatively easy to achieve, believe me. You just better look out for some of the most dangerous errors you might make.

One of them, spending money on shiny objects, was already mentioned. Let’s just mention another one.

Email list sabotage

One of the hardest truths to deal with is the idea of your email list being sabotaged all the time.

Think of it. You build a list, let’s say you collect those 2,083 subscribers I’ve mentioned, buying ads, building blogs and so on. You mail them, promoting all sorts of affiliate products that you’ve found on networks like JVZoo, Clickbank, Warrior+ etc. Now, with every sale you make, the vendors of these products get the buyers contacts. Your contacts, because you’ve paid for them, either with money (paid advertising) or time (building something and working to get the leads).

The moment that happens, the network and the vendor start to mail to those leads. See what happened here? The lead you’ve worked hard to get is now being marketed to by other marketers, thus effectively killing your contacts in your email list. You’ve just lost some money, looking long-term, and your list is worth less and less to you.

MAP is different

MAP (Master Affiliate Profits) is actually totally avoiding this from ever happening. The first thing you must know is that Master Affiliate Profits program is not free. Not in Phase 2 (the current project phase) anyway, and it makes sense.

Absolutely!
