What is Spin Rewriter

Spin Rewriter is considered by many – myself included – as the best spinning software out there. At least taking everything into account, including the price tag. It gives the user so many options that it really makes differerence. But first, let’s us ask a question.

Is spun content really web spam?

Content spinning is bad for all kinds of reasons…

• It just doesn’t work. Google has famously cracked down on spun content in blog networks. Many of those sites have been blacklisted and rightfully so. Low-quality, duplicate content was penalized by Google’s “Penguin Update.”
• It’s in no way future-proof. Even before the launch of Google+, there were rumors that Google was using social media activity as a ranking factor. Now with +1’s and personalized search results, social signals are well known to affect rankings. Spun content rarely sees any social shares, likes, or comments.
• It’s mostly awful writing. Putting an article through the spin cycle is the fastest way to ruin a good post.

All of this is bad news for content spinners. It’s time to retire the robotic rewrite and get real.

All these is true. If you do your spinning lousy, it’s exactly what you’ll get – lousy results and lousy rankings. There’s no way Google will not find out, believe me.

The new approach

Lately, smart spinners – like Spin Rewriter – are taking things to the next level. Their algorytms got much more sofisticated and let you do all kinds of things with your texts. Of course, Google will always have the upper hand and there’s no telling when it will strike again. But it’s getting harder even for Google to differentiate texts spun by such engines, as their results are really impressive.

Taking Spin Rewriter for a ride

Spin Rewriter is an online software (SAAS), that also functions via API calls and has its own WordPress plugin to manage posts o a website. It lets people spin their articles, taking some settings that help make it really good. A special option that I like to call beast mode enables users to create literally hundreds of articles from a single article in mere minutes. They’re all downloadable in a single zip after creation, and they can be used all over your websites.

Let’s see how to spin a single article first. I click on “Rewrite“, and I paste my text into the text field. Note – I’ve used a very short excerpt from this very post. 🙂

My next step is to configure settings, if I want to; here they are, without much interpretation needed:

That’s it. All I need to do now is click the Rewrite Article button and wait a little. How long you will wait depends strongly on the length of your article. It can be 20s, but can also be a few minutes. The result is the article writen in spintax format.

Before I get the finaly spintax ready, I can also change the synonyms if I don’t like any of them. I can include new ones or delete the suggested ones, so I get the perfect tone.

Every article that I rewrite is automatically saved into a folder called My Archive. I can always go there and use any of the articles again and again, should I want to. Now, I can create as many different articles as I need, by simply clicking the Generate a Unique Article button. The result will be a perfectly readable article that has roots in my original text, but differs so much it can easily be taken as a completely new text.

If you don’t like it, because it’s maybe too short or too long or not different enough (noticed the Uniqueness gauge on the left?), you can simply click the Generate a Unique Article again. And again and again, until you’re satisfied with what you see.

Now, I can download it in a .txt file, I can directly post it to a WordPress blog (settings!), or simply copy the text box and paste it somewhere as plain text. Needles to say, I can refine it further if I want before I save it. And that’s it. I have a new article ready.

How I am using Spin Rewriter in my own business

I’ve been a customer of Spin Rewriter for a couple of years now, and I’m using it in three different ways.

1) Rewriting a single article

Mostly I’m using this functionality. I have lots and lots of PLR content that I’ve bought over the years (literally lots….), and re-using this with the help of a spinner is a great way to create content. So I paste my PLR articles in Spin Rewriter and create lots of different variations on my blogs.

2) Using Spin Rewriter API

Spin Rewriter contains a very useful API engine that you get to use for up to 500 calls per day. As Spin Rewriter is available in most of today’s content engines, plugins and themes, the inegration is possile that uses Spin Rewriter with them. For instance, if you have a plugin that automatically fetches RSS feeds from a certain platform and creates posts out of it, you can include Spin Rewriter API calls to spin the text on the fly. Thus, getting whole new posts just briefly connected to the originals.

3) Using the WordPress plugin

Spin Rewriter includes a WordPress plugin that you can use to spin and re-use old posts on any of your blogs. It’s very easy to connect it to Spin Rewriter API, and it does what SPin Rewriter does: it creates a new post from your old post. Very simple and effective, and old posts can be re-used easily.

Normal pricing that you’ll have to pay to use Spin Rewriter is $37 per month, or $197 per year. It does not pose any limits on the number of articles, so you can really knock yourself out with it. The only limit that exists is the usage of API calls, which is set to 500 calls daily. Think of it, this means 500 articles daily. I don’t need that many, for sure.
